COVID-19 Services

We know that many of our LGBTQ+ and HIV community members are struggling with food access during this time. Whether you do not have the resources you need or if it is unsafe for you to leave your home because of underlying health conditions, we’re here for you. Each care package typically provides enough food for a week with paper products. For those that have specific requests or prefer to do their own shopping, we can provide you with a Giant Eagle gift card.

While most cell phone carriers are delaying payments, some are immediately shutting off service. It is more important now than ever to be able to maintain connections while we socially distance. If your cell phone service has been shut off, reach out to us to coordinate a one-time payment so that you can maintain connections to friends, chosen family, and our virtual supports!

For many LGBTQ+ youth and families, sheltering in place can mean added stress and potentially conflict. We’re here to help. Our youth and caregiver services are now available virtually. We’re offering individual and group based supports for youth and caregivers. Mondays and Wednesdays we offer groups for youth and Thursdays are our caregiver groups. Check out our Youth and Family Services page to learn more. https://hughlane.org/youth-and-family-services/

Want to connect with other community members? We’ve got you covered. All of our services have been adapted to be available virtually utilizing a variety of platforms. Check out our Facebook page for social events or our training page to have us to virtually train your team.

Our pets can be like family, and provide a source of comfort and stress relief for many. If you have a cat or dog that you are struggling to feed during this time, reach out and we’ll make sure your furry friend has a bag of food to help get you both through!

We’re here to help during this time. Please reach out if you or someone you love could benefit!
