Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation is here for you during this stressful time. While COVID-19 is impacting communities worldwide, we know that our LGBTQ+ and HIV community members face even greater risk. Some reasons include: lack of access to equitable healthcare, employment in jobs that are impacted by closure or by risk, queer and trans youth being #queerentined in spaces that are not safe, seniors being isolated, and higher risk factors for complications as a result of health disparities that disproportionately impact our communities.
We have shifted our work in a number of ways to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19. While our offices are not currently open to the public, we have moved all of our services and supports to adapt to remote work at this time. Know that we are here for you and are working diligently to make sure that you have access to needed resources and supports. In addition to our direct services, we are also participating on local and national planning calls to assure the broader needs of our communities are met and we all work together to provide services in this time.
On this page you will find information about the specific programs and services we’ve adapted in response to COVID-19, including thoughtfully curated programs, tangible aid, and a brief community survey to assure we’re providing the best services possible at this time.
